Announcing Kimberly Moros as The Policy Circle’s CLER Military Initiative Fellow

We are proud to welcome Kimberly Moros as the new Military Fellow at The Policy Circle.

Kimberly is a retired U.S. Army Colonel with 26 years of service, including seven years at U.S. Special Operations Command (USSOCOM). She is a recognized expert in crisis planning, strategic communications, and building connections. As a Civic Leadership Engagement Roadmap (CLER) graduate, Circle Leader, and Civic Coach, Kimberly brings military expertise and deep Policy Circle experience to this role.

ABOUT THE MILITARY INITIATIVE

Generously funded by the Hoffman Foundation, the Civic Leadership Engagement Roadmap Military Initiative supports active-duty female officers, veterans, military spouses, and family members through mentorship, networking, and leadership development. For women navigating frequent moves and transitions, The Policy Circle’s leadership programs offer a practical roadmap to quickly integrate into new communities, raise awareness of unique challenges, and pursue leadership opportunities at the local level.

“Military families carry a mission-first mindset that strengthens every community they join,” said Sara Cribari Hill, The Policy Circle’s Director of Civic Impact. “With Kimberly’s leadership, The Policy Circle is elevating those voices and turning service into civic impact.”

WHY KIMBERLY’S LEADERSHIP MATTERS

Kimberly’s career has been defined by teamwork under pressure, mission clarity, and the ability to connect people and resources. Those strengths will help expand the Military Initiative’s reach, deepen our mentorship network, and design programming that meets women where they are, whether on base, between duty stations, or settling into civilian life.

As a Fellow, Kimberly will:

  • Lead outreach to the military community: Reach active-duty women, veterans, Guard and Reserve members, spouses, and caretakers.
  • Grow participation in The Policy Circle’s civic leadership programs: Answer questions, guide women through applying and getting started.
  • Build strong partnerships: Work with military organizations, veterans groups, and local organizations to share development opportunities.

HOW TO GET INVOLVED

If you are a military-connected woman or an ally who wants to help:

  • Explore CLER: Start your Civic Leadership Engagement Roadmap and build a personal action plan. A limited number of full Program Grants for eligible women within the military community who aspire to join the program.
  • Join The Policy Circle: Connect with a national network of women leading in their communities.
  • Partner with Us: Organizations and leaders serving military families are invited to collaborate.

We are excited for Kimberly’s impact as the CLER Military Initiative Fellow. Welcome, Kimberly!
