CLER AWARD APPLICATION

The Policy Circle is a nonprofit, nonpartisan organization that informs, equips, and connects women to be more impactful citizens. To become more equipped, we offer our signature Civic Leadership Engagement Roadmap (CLER) program, which is a 3-month experiential, self-paced program that builds women’s skills, knowledge, and confidence to become more impactful local civic leaders. This program is a vehicle for women to discover their path and next steps in leadership, and costs $300 for each course (1.0 and Education).

Our goal is to provide opportunities for any woman who has the passion and interest in getting more engaged civically. However, we recognize that certain financial barriers may exist that we do not want to stand in the way of emerging leaders. To meet this challenge, The Policy Circle allows for a select number of Awards to be granted to each cohort for those with a desire to participate in CLER and who have an intent to chart their course toward local leadership. Awards are granted based on availability and the stated need and interests.

The Policy Circle is able to extend Awards thanks to generous donors who help offset costs and make CLER possible for anyone eager to participate. For those who receive an Award, The Policy Circle simply asks for:

Active and full engagement in the CLER program, including the introductory and monthly calls, small group meetings, and individual assignments
Referral of at least two new women to The Policy Circle community and/or CLER
Active engagement on The Policy Circle’s social channels (LinkedIn, Facebook, X, Instagram, and YouTube)
