We hosted a virtual discussion on September 15th focused on law enforcement and more specifically, the upcoming vote by the Dallas City Council on public safety funding.
Regardless of the outcome of that 2021 budget vote, the issue of funding or defunding the police will likely continue in communities around the country. Please peruse this Law Enforcement Conversation Overview, which contains a recap and video link to our conversation, a link to the new Law Enforcement Brief and information about reforms and the various groups behind the Defund the Police movement.
Most important, we hope that you will organize a Circle (live or virtual) to discuss law enforcement, the role of government, reforms and what you can do as a citizen to ensure the safety of the police and your entire community.
