John Tillman, from the Illinois Policy Institute sent this email:
Lincolnshire became the first Right-to-Work municipality in Illinois Dec.14. It’s truly a historic moment that few would have thought possible even a year ago. The work isn’t over yet, though. As you might expect, the unions were out in force last week. They shuttled in people to pack the room at the Lincolnshire Village Board meeting to ensure their disapproval was heard loud and clear. We want to make sure these brave, local leaders hear from the other side as well. Would you be willing to call or even send a handwritten note thanking them for their commitment to turning Illinois around? The following leaders stood up for worker freedom:
– Mayor Elizabeth Brandt- Trustee Karen Feldman- Trustee Mark Hancock- Trustee Gerard Leider- Trustee Tom McDonough- Trustee Dan Servi You can write to them at: One Olde Half Day RoadLincolnshire, IL 60069 Or call them at 847-883-8600.
It is always great to feel validated.
