Think of your Circle Leaders. They enjoy gathering women together for meaningful conversation about public policy around the belief that limited government and free markets create the best opportunities for all to pursue their dreams and improve their lives.
Do you know someone who would make a great Circle Leader? Now you can help bring The Policy Circle to new communities by logging in to the website and selecting Recommend a Circle Leader. It’s right there to the left under Start a Circle.
As you know, a Circle Leader doesn’t need to be a policy expert. A Circle Leader is a “respectful facilitator” who brings women together to talk policy, start paying attention and get engaged by speaking up.
- Loves open dialogue
- Believes everyone can participate in a policy discussion
- Enjoys learning from others
- Encourages people to get engaged.
The time commitment is not huge. Ideally, Circles meet every other month – that’s five times a year. (Some Circles decide to meet even more often than that!) The Policy Circle framework provides themes and policy briefs to guide A Year of Conversation. The website makes it easy to start, personalize, manage and grow a Circle. If you know of someone who would believe in The Policy Circle model and be a great Circle Leader, please pass along their name and a Policy Circle Team member will follow up with them! Spread the word, Recommend a Circle Leader
