What is The Policy Circle?
The Policy Circle is a nonpartisan, 501c3 non-profit organization that informs, equips, and connects curious, action-oriented women who believe in the power of free enterprise, entrepreneurialism, and personal agency. Through a diverse array of resources and programs, The Policy Circle cultivates civic literacy and engagement. Our community members read Policy Briefs for balanced, fact-based information, join Circles across the country to start conversations within their communities, and tune into programming and events featuring thought leaders who offer fresh perspectives. Why Civic Engagement Matters for You
Engaging civically is about lending your voice to the economic development boards, planning, and zoning commissions that make decisions affecting your business and community’s future.
Here’s why this matters for you as an entrepreneur/business leader:
Influence Policy Decisions: Your insights as a business owner are invaluable. By engaging in civic matters, you ensure that the needs and perspectives of local businesses are considered in policy-making, leading to a more favorable business environment.
Strengthen Your Community: Your involvement can lead to more effective and inclusive economic development strategies for small businesses, promoting a thriving community that benefits all its members.
Amplify Your Impact: As a woman in the entrepreneurial world, your participation sends a powerful message about the importance of women’s leadership in public spaces, inspiring others to follow suit.
The Entrepreneur’s Advantage in Civic Engagement
Your journey as an entrepreneur has already changed the local landscape. Imagine the impact you can make by extending your leadership beyond your business, into the heart of your community. This is an invitation to step into a role that not only enhances your business’s growth potential but also contributes to the prosperity and well-being of your community.
