We’re thrilled to welcome you to The Policy Circle’s Civic Leadership Engagement Roadmap (CLER) program.

What’s next?

The success of your participation depends on the individual and collective commitment of cohort members. To ensure we leverage your valuable time and unique talents, look and plan for the following to begin the program:

1. Set Up Your Canvas Login

You must complete the 12-week curriculum utilizing an online program. Watch for an email in your inbox from Canvas with a link to set up an account to see the syllabus and track your progress. The invitation is issued directly from CANVAS, and the subject line will be: Canvas Free for Teachers Course Invitation.

Click on the button marked “Get Started” and follow the prompts to finish the setup. If you have any questions, do not hesitate to reach out.

2. Schedule Your Monthly Individual Calls

You will meet with Kim Borchers individually each month to track your success, for ongoing mentorship, and to provide recommendations on how to improve the experience. Schedule a time with her via Calendly at your earliest convenience.

3. Add Monthly Cohort Calls to Your Calendar

The program will include monthly virtual meetings with all cohort members for curriculum and training with special guests. You should have received calendar invitations for each Zoom call. Meeting URLs for each course are also linked below.

4. Submit Your Program Participant Fee

Your CLER Program Participant Fee of $300 is due now. Payment can be made in full or divided into three monthly payments of $100 each. Alternatively, you may complete the CLER Program Award Application.

5. Send Us Your Headshot and Bio

We can’t wait to announce our new cohort! If you have not already provided a headshot and short bio, please send them to Beth McQueen at bmcqueen@thepolicycircle.org by January 29th. Names and headshots will be used on our social media platforms to announce our newest cohorts! If you do not want this information shared, please notify Beth immediately.
