Today Only: Participate in a Survey on publishing of doctors prices.

Today is the last day to participate in a survey by Open the Books asking citizens whether or not they would price compare doctors and their services if they had online access to the costs doctors charge?  Thousands have already taken the survey, now The Policy Circle members can also make their voices heard.

The results from the survey will help shine light on the healthcare industry and bring some transparency to its pricing.  Take the survey now, it ends today.

As Open the Books reports, “Healthcare is one of the only industries where you are forced to blindly purchase a service without knowing how much it’ll cost up front. Then you’re forced to pay the bill, no matter how exorbitant.”

Open the Books is a nonprofit, nonpartisan charitable organization which serves as a government watchdog organization fighting for fiscal transparency of how tax dollars are being spent.  They are working to collect and make public all disclosed government spending at every level — federal, state, and local.

Plan your next meeting around Policy Briefs on the subjects of Fiscal Responsibility or Healthcare: Overview. Invite local leaders to join the conversation as your Circle goes beyond the headlines and dives deeper into the facts.

Circles from across the country will gather together on November 14th -15th in Chicago for the fourth annual Policy Circle Leadership Summit.  Reserve your spot today and enjoy this special registration rate.
