JoAnna Garcia Sohovich, CEO of Chamberlain Group, will headline 4th Annual Circle Leadership Summit

The Policy Circle is pleased to announce that JoAnna Garcia Sohovich, CEO of Chamberlain Group, will be a principal speaker at the The Policy Circle’s 4th Annual Leadership Summit, taking place in Chicago on November 15th, 2019. 

Sohovich is the CEO of Chamberlin Group (CGI), a market leader in access control solutions and leading the smart home integration market with its myQ®-enabled products which empowers users to control or monitor their entry points through smartphone access. IE — the design and engineering of residential garage door openers, commercial door operators, gate entry systems, and more. 

This November, Sohovich will bring her warmth and personality to the Policy Circle mainstage and discuss ‘Transforming Culture to Embrace Connectedness’ as part of the larger theme for the Summit: “Living and Leading in a Connected World.”

Sohovich impressive career in leadership and innovation began with the United States Navy, at the U.S. Naval Submarine base in Point Loma, CA, where she was later deployed to the Persian Gulf. Sohovich has served in various C-Suite and Executive roles with GM, Honeywell, Stanley Black & Decker, and currently serves as the CEO of Chamberlain Group.

In addition to her work as CEO of Chamberlain Group, Sohovich is also an independent director for the Barnes Group, Inc. and is a member of The Committee of 200 (C200), an invitation-only membership organization of the world’s most successful women business leaders. She holds a BS in Economics from the United States Naval Academy and an MBA from Santa Clara University. 

Most recently, Sohovich received the prestigious ‘Enterprise CxO of the year’ awarded at the annual Internet of Things (IoT) Conference 2019. The accolade recognizes her outstanding leadership in the implementation and success of IoT in her business.
