One Week

The U.S. House just approved a one-week spending bill to give lawmakers more time to negotiate the next COVID stimulus package. With weakening jobs numbers posted in November, analysts says that as many as four million small businesses could be lost in 2020, as the pandemic takes its toll on local economies. With time running out before the lame-duck session begins, some are wondering, is this next round of stimulus relief too little too late?

How to take action:

  • Support local businesses in your area as you shop and prep for the holidays.
  • Read the Federal debt brief.
  • Start a conversation with your circle or network.
  • Contact your local lawmakers.
