Announcing “Women’s Influence & Liberty Conference” – September 17

By Stephanie Edelman Zarate

The Policy Circle and Center for the Study of Liberty are excited to announce that they will be co-sponsoring “Women’s Influence & Liberty Conference”, a half-day conference for women on September 17, 2016, in Indianapolis at the Ivy Tech Community College Conference Center.

The Women’s Influence & Liberty Conference will begin with lunch and a keynote speaker, Nina Easton, Chair of Fortune Most Powerful Women International and Senior Associate at the Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS). The presentation will be followed by a series of roundtable discussions moderated by women experts and policy scholars.

This conference is unique because it will model the Policy Circle, so you get to speak!  Women participants are invited to express their views in roundtable discussions (prepared for those discussions by readings about policy issues that they receive in advance of the conference).  Expert scholars and business leaders – including The Policy Circle co-founder Angela Braly – will lead women in roundtable discussions on policy about free enterprise, healthcare, foreign trade, education reform, anti-poverty efforts, regulation and entrepreneurship, government spending and taxation.  A networking reception will conclude this afternoon event.

Space is limited and session selections will be first come, first serve – so be sure to register soon!
